Catch Of The Week: Noah Hudson
Meet Noah Hudson from Moultonborough, NH and Nashville
When you know, you Noah. And Noah Hudson knew from a very young age. This now 21 year old Belmont University student had stars in his eyes and a guitar in his hands for as long as he can remember. The lessons started in first grade, by 14 he was writing songs, and by 17 he had won a local radio station contest in New Hampshire for “Local Song of the Year.”
Now, the part-time realtor is just beginning to live out his dreams in Nashville. He’s been writing a lot, and hoping to get back to the stage soon. In the meantime you can hear some of his new unreleased music on his Instagram page, along with some cool covers.
You get the sense from his music and his voice that Noah is an old soul. His sound is warm like Lee Brice, slightly edgy like his Hardy and certainly accomplished for an artist his age. But make no mistake, Noah is molding his own musical identity… plowing a new path to his dream.

Noah wrote this song, “Better With Time,” with his friends Trent Wayne and Matt Mulhare in January of this year. THey came up with the idea of using different examples of things that get better with time, to explain a relationship that is better with time.

- From: Wrentham, MA
- Grew up in: Moultonborough, NH
- Now lives in: Nashville, TN but often home to visit parents in Meredith, NH
- What lead you to music: I told my mom, “I want to play guitar and I want to play it loud” at only 3 years old.
- How old when you started: I started taking guitar lessons at six years old when my hands could finally wrap around the neck of a guitar.
- First country song you learned: All On Me by Devin Dawson
- Instruments played: Guitar, Saxophone, and some Piano
- How would you describe your sound: In the past I’ve been told I sound a bit like Devin Dawson which was a huge compliment for me since he’s one of my favorite artists and writers.
- Who inspires you: My family, my favorite songwriters (Hardy and Devin Dawson) and my guitar teacher, David Young, who we unfortunately lost this past December.
- Awards/accolades: Local radio station -Song of the Year Contest Winner back in 2017
- Dream duet partner: Hardy or Devin Dawson
- All- time favorite country song: I can almost never pick just one favorite song, but my current favorite is “Ain’t a Bad Day” by Hardy.
- First country concert: Zac Brown Band at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH when I was in middle school.
- What songs do you like now on Country 1025: Some Girls by Jameson Rodgers, One Beer by Hardy ft. Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson, and One Of Them Girls by Lee Brice.
- If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing: If I wasn’t a musician I’d probably be a full-time Realtor.
- Day Job: I’m a student at Belmont University here in Nashville and I work part-time as a Realtor. I’m also a part-time Valet at the Omni hotel in downtown Nashville.
- Most proud moment: When I opened for the headlining band at the July 4th concert in North Conway for a crowd of around 5,000 people. I got the opportunity after winning the Local Song of the Year contest in 2017.
- Crazy thing that happened in your music career: Definitely opening for that 4th of July concert. I was only 18 years old at the time and it was the largest crowd I had ever played for.
- Other things you like to do: I love to hike, woodwork, and play golf.
- Fun facts: I have snowboarded since I was 7, I can name almost any car from just looking at it, and I love to travel. While studying abroad in London last fall I visited 9 different countries in Europe.
- Mantra: “Life is what you make of it.” I try to live by the mindset that what you get out of every situation has everything to do with the effort you put into it.
