REWIND: Eli Young Band Superstar Mini Concert
We brought you Eli Young Band’s Mini Concert over our “radio waves” and it felt amazing to have live music back! Mike Eli shared some positive words and told us the meaning behind some of their biggest songs!
Mike discussed the difficult time we’re all going through and that no one really realized how long people would be home. “I know that this really hit all of us. It feels like out of nowhere, but I know that we can get through this. ”
They’ve been working on a new album for a while, but this time at home has lead to some new creativity. “It’s gonna be interesting how this next album changes after we continue writing over these next few months, but we’re really excited.”
Even If It Breaks Your Heart is a song about dreams, “…it was the moment where we were able to tell the world who we are and where we came from.”
Break It In is their new song, which reflects where they are in their careers right now. “We feel like, after 19 years of being a band, we’re just now kind of breaking this whole Eli Young Band thing.”
