5 Massachusetts Donut Shops Make National ‘Worth the Drive’ List

So… you like donuts, eh? Or do you like doughnuts?? Personally I like donuts and hate doughnuts. Though it’s correct – probably even more correct than “donut,” but still I’m Team Donut for life. I think I blame the Simpsons. Anyway, whether you love donuts or doughnuts you’re here to get some valuable cakey intel – 5 Massachusetts Donut Shops ‘Worth the Drive.” Well get those stretchy pajama pants on, let’s go!

Eater released a larger frame list of donut shops all over New England that are worth the drive. I’ll link the entire list at the end of this article in case you’re curious. 2 Rhode Island, 1 Connecticut, 2 Maine, and 1 Vermont donut shop all made the list along with the FIVE entries from Massachusetts. We may run on Dunkin’ but we love our moms and pops too in Mass!

    A very obscure donut shop that was mentioned several times in our poll. They’ve been rated 4.5 stars out of 5 in several outlets. Their last Facebook post said they have chocolate chip cannoli donuts so they must be good.

  • Rocco's Doughnut Company with locations in Millbury and Westboro

    They offer donut platters and even gigantic donuts. They boast their own house blend of coffee. You can also order directly on their website.

  • PV Donuts in Providence

    According to their website: “Truthfully, we didn’t know what we were doing when we started, just that we wanted to bring something different and delicious to the food scene here in Rhode Island.” They offer flourless and vegan options. They even offer ice cream sandwiches!
