Shay Mooney And His Wife Welcome Their Second Child
Congrats to Dan + Shay’s own Shay Mooney and his wife Hannah! This weekend they welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Ame’s Alexander Mooney. Ame’s was born Friday in Nashville and weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz. and measured 19.5 inches long.
Local girl and pop star Meghan Trainor’s father has been hospitalized after being struck in a hit and run accident. He was crossing a busy street by foot when he was hit by a car. He was transported to an area hospital on Friday night in LA. It looks like he will be alright, he’s in stable condition and he’ll recover from his injuries. Gary Trainor and Meghan are super close and just yesterday she posted on Instagram with a picture of them saying “I’m with my dad now. Thank you for all your sweet messages. It was all very scary but he is the strongest man I know.”

Prince Harry and Megan Markle are fighting with the queen again saying that the queen has no authority to strip them of their right to say they’re royals. Basically what happened is that the queen said that the couple can no longer use the term “Sussex royal” because that’s not what they are anymore. The royal part of that title has been stripped. SO they posted an angry post about it saying the Queen doesn’t own the word ‘royal’. Now they say they won’t use the word but it’s their choice, not the queen’s. This is a big blow to Harry and Meghan who have spent a fortune and a lot of time building their Sussex royal brand website and idea. They had filed trademark applications for items like clothing and stationary and bandannas. Meghan said that regardless of the name, Harry and Archie have royal blood and no one can take that away. And that as a family, they will always be considered royalty.”

Chris Tavarez, who was the actor from Disney’s hit TV show “KC Undercover” is going to jail for several months for an alleged domestic violence incident, and that’s AFTER striking a plea deal. The 27 year old pled no contest to 1 count of felony domestic violence with a prior conviction. He’s been sentenced to a suspended 5 year prison sentence but will only serve 300 days in country jail. He’s also getting credit for 153 days already served, which leaves him with a little less than 150 days behind bars.
Ben Affleck opened up in a recent interview about his divorce from Jennifer Garner as well as his battle with alcoholism. In this interview with Diane Sawyer he said he’s been taking anti-depressants for more than 20 years. “I get depresses. I take antidepressants. They’re very helpful for me. I’ve taken them since I was 26 years old, various different kinds. I’ve switched and tried this and tried that. Sometimes they won’t tell you about some awful side effect and you’ll come back and say “Why am I 60 pounds heavier?”
Today will be the memorial for Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi, who were both killed in the helicopter crash. It’s taking place at the staples center, which holds 20,000. More than 88,000 people applied for tickets in just 5 hours. It will be closed off to anyone who doesn’t have a ticket to this event. It was not said who will speak at the memorial but Kobe’s wife Vanessa is expected to attend the event. It begins at 12:30pm EST.
