Local Catch Artist Jessie Chris (From Southboro) To Perform On Today Show!
The stars are shining brighter over New England, more than ever before. A little over a year ago, I started “The Local Catch” feature on country1025.com because I believed the country music talent pool here was just bursting at the seams, screaming to get recognition. I felt that these talented artists, who have grown up listening to country music, and Country 102.5, needed a platform to be heard beyond the clubs and festivals. I wanted everyone to get to know these artists and hear them. It was only a matter of time before some of them broke through to the national level. Already we have see Portland, Maine’s Kalie Shorr get some national exposure, being named to Teen Vogue’s 2017 music issue, and the only country artist to make the list. But what you will see on NBC’s Today Show this Wednesday is monumental! Southboro’s Jessie Chris, who was a featured artist on my Local Catch last summer, will make her network television debut! Jessie’s been working so hard to get where she is and has tireless donated much of her time to worthy causes, particularly anti-bullying campaigns throughout the country. Set the DVR or tune in at 10am to see Jessie perform her single, “Burn.”
Take a look at Jessie’s video:
We’ll be tuned in to support this talented, young artist who has worked so hard, and devoted much of her time for anti-bullying campaigns, and other worthy causes.
