How confident am I being naked? I’d give myself a solid 1.5 out of 10. Not comfortable at all, I don’t even want my reflection to see me. Going to the doctor’s for a physical takes weeks of getting myself mentally prepared. Actually, after talking this out maybe I’m more of a 0.5 out of 10?

Bespoke Surgical surveyed over 3,000 people across the country to find out how confident people in different states are with their nakedness.

Massachusetts scored pretty high with a score of 4.9. Maine is a little less confident in the buff, scoring a 4.6. New Hampshire ended up with a strong 5.0. All of us paled in comparison to Rhode Island though, who scored a whopping 5.7!

Only one state has more confidence in shedding the clothing than Rhode Island. Washington edged Rhode Island out of the top spot by only 0.1! That’s a tiny piece of confidence! Washington topped the nation with an overall score of 5.8.

Hey, since we’re talking about confidence with nakedness, it’s an easy transition to talk about….. skinny dipping!

MyDatingAdviser.com put together a VERY comprehensive list of the 801 best spots to skinny dip in the US. To determine their best spots they considered each beach’s Climate Likeability, Average Summer Air Temperature, Average Summer Water Temperature, Pollution Level, Blue Flag Status, Crime Rate, Average Hotel Cost, Beach Quality Score, Weather Score, Safety Score, and Hotel Cost Score. Together these factors led to an overall score out of 100. The higher the score, the better the skinny dipping spot.

I will present to you below the 17 highest rated skinny dipping spots in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. I went through MyDatingAdvisor’s list and plucked any entry that got an overall score of 88 or higher. We’ll go number by number. I’ll start at an overall score of 88 and let you know all the spots in all three states that scored an 88. Then we’ll move on to the 89’s, and so on.
