It’s not every day that you get to say, “hi Thomas Rhett,” on the phone. But today, it happened. Thomas, like quite a few country stars has made a deep connection with his Boston fans. He considers us, and this station, instrumental in his career. We were there at the House Of Blues years ago, presenting Thomas in concert after his first time at Fenway, opening for Jason Aldean. He performed at our “after party.” The crowd gathered quickly and filled the House to see what Thomas could do. And he did! He crowd surfed, rocked the stage and brought his friends, including his then girlfriend (now wife) Lauren, and road buddies Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert on stage to celebrate his Boston debut! We ate him up! Couldn’t get enough of this energetic performer! Eight #1 its later, Thomas has chosen Boston, and the first place he technically headlined in Boston, to return and share his 3rd studio album with us. He is doing 3 cities of significance in his career, in one day to share “Life Changes.” Boston is first on the list! It’s an 10:00 am show September 8th and Thomas will perform live and acoustically, and also do a Q&A with fans who are lucky enough to be there!
