Cult Favorites: The Low Down On Make Up
Beauty is a very personal thing, and, like most fashionistas, we take it uber-seriously, especially when it comes to cult favorites. So, when we decided to pay homage to them, we made sure to go straight to the top. Gregory Arlt is the Director of Makeup Artistry at M∙A∙C and has some pearls of wisdom to share about his cult faves.
What are some of the more popular M∙A∙C cult favorites?
One of the biggest cult favorites in my opinion is that perfect red lipstick- Ruby Woo. Everyone from the palest of skin tones, to the darkest of skin tones, and everyone in between, looks amazing in this iconic lip shade.
Why in your opinion, is that so?
Ruby Woo is like the little black dress of makeup! It’s a flawless, fire engine, cherry red whose matte formula allows it to look perfect as well as be a long lasting shade that needs little to no maintenance.
Any newer product(s) that you think will be future cult favorites?
