Brett Young Stops By ‘Ellen’
Friday was a rare episode on ‘Ellen’ because the star of the show was missing from it.
Ellen had the day off and hosting in her place was actress/comedian Ellie Kemper. She’s best known for her work on NBC’s ‘The Office’ and the Netflix original comedy ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’.
On the show, one of the guests was country artist Brett Young.
Young just released his sophomore album Ticket To L.A. last week and he sang the lead single “Here Tonight,” from it.
As for the reason Kemper was in for Ellen, she made light of the topic in her opening monologue.
Ellie Kemper guest-hosted my show. And I guess the secret’s out now... pic.twitter.com/hzUg75IUHV
