Old Dominion Plays Sold Out Show at the Tsongas Center
Old Dominion played to a sold out crowd last night at the Tsongas Center in Lowell. Chances are, if you’re a fan of the band, you know their tunes…but that’s “A Song for Another Time”…how many of these songs did you know the band wrote?
During their set last night, the guys shared with an arena full of enthusiastic fans how they moved to Nashville years ago to pursue a career in songwriting. This then transitioned into an acoustic throwback medley of songs written by Trevor, Matt, and Brad – sharing how they met and got their big breaks in writing and eventually started touring together.
They worked the medley in between other crowd pleasers like “Break Up With Him” and “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart” as a thank you to the fans for listening to their music even before they knew they were listening to their music.
The songs from the set were:
- Wake Up Loving You (recorded by Craig Morgan)
- Better Dig Two (recorded by The Band Perry)
- Make You Miss Me (recorded by Sam Hunt)
- A Guy Walks Into A Bar (recorded by Tyler Farr)
- Say You Do (recorded by Dierks Bentley)
- Sangria (recorded by Blake Shelton)
- Light it Up (recorded by Luke Bryan)
