Jessica Simpson and Husband Welcome Third Child

Baby makes five for Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson.
The singer and designer gave birth to her third child, daughter Birdie Mae Johnson, on Wednesday, sharing a photo on her Instagram.
Simpson revealed that the baby weighed in at 10lbs, 13 oz.
Simpson and her husband are already mom and dad to 2 children, Maxwell Drew, 6, and Ace Knute, 5.
They announced their pregnancy back in August. Since then, Simpson has been open about her health struggles with her third baby.
She was hospitalized several times with bronchitis, suffered from sciatic pain and extreme swelling, known as edema, and joked about having to sleep in a recliner due to excessive heartburn.
This weekend, she posted a bikini photo with the caption “Jess-tation,” prompting fans to guess that she was due any moment.
Still, in spite of any challenges, the couple was thrilled to welcome another baby. A few weeks ago, she shared an image of her 2 other children with the caption, “The one thing that gets me through this pregnancy is knowing I will get another one of these cuties.”
