Florida Georgia Line won what Brian Kelley called a “Bucket List” award at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards taking home the Top Country Song Award for “Meant To Be” with Bebe Rexha.
Tyler Hubbard took the podium to share the love saying, “In the spirit of so much truth being spoken tonight by so many talented artists, I think we should speak a little truth. You know we’ve been out here doing this thing for about ten years now we’ve been through this all for nothing if you’re not using your platform, if your not using your platform to spread love, to help those in need, to be a light for your community so tonight we just want to encourage you guys to create a life that’s bigger then yourselves.”
Then after thanking their fans and country music Hubbard said, “Go love somebody.”
