Antonio Brown Loses Nike Deal
Tim McGraw is putting the finishing touches on his new album! He says “this project is really a tapestry of life, and I can’t wait for everybody to hear it.” It comes out in 2020 and he says he’s NOT going to do what Blake Shelton is doing with the singles…he’s doing a full length album.
“for me, an album tells a story, and I’ve always tried to do that with all my records. And the way that I developed musically, and the way I learned to listen to music, was through albums…so I like the process of an album.”
He has 15 studio albums, 12 compilation albums and 67 singles. 12 of those albums reached number 1 on Billboard Country albums chart!
Big news for a couple of older men, who are dating much younger women. Both Chris Noth and Alec Baldwin are expecting children with their wives. 64 year old Chris Noth (actor who played Mr. Big on Sex and the City) is expecting his second child with his 37 year old wife Tara and 61 year old Alec Baldwin is having his 5th child with his 35 year old wife Hilaria. She made the announcement on Instagram she said “My one request is that the media not send paparazzi to follow me or buy independent paparazzi photos, hence encouraging them. I want to remain peaceful during this very early time in my pregnancy and getting chased around by the cameras is not in the doctor’s orders.”
Nike has cut ties with Antonio Brown following the sexual assault claims made by his personal trainer. A rep from Nike told the media that the new Patriots superstar is “not a Nike athlete.” Antonio had a signature shoe deal with the shoe company…the Nike Tech Trainer Antonio Brown was released in February and sold for $100. Those shoes have since been taken off the site. He also lost his deal with helmet manufacturer Xenith last week.
Kelly Clarkson warns fans. She’s the nicest person, but she has limits… Don’t kiss her! She doesn’t know where your mouths have been, so that means no kiss on the lips or cheeks. She wrote on twitter “spread the word. I don’t like being kissed on my face when you meet me. Ever. Male or female. I ain’t European y’all. I didn’t grow up doing that. I don’t like it.” Then she hashtagged #MyPSAfortheday. She loved hugs, fist bumps, handshakes and high fives though!

More news is coming out about the bus crash that Josh Turner’s road crew was involved in two nights ago in California. Yesterday we found out that one person died and 7 were injured. The man who died in the crash was 64 year old David Turner (no relation to Josh). He was his sound man and had been working with Josh for 12 years. Before that he was employed by several other country artists like Tammy Wynette, Hank Williams Jr. Conway Twitty and Patty Loveless.. The California Highway Patrol has ruled out drugs or alcohol but a witness says that the bus was going 60-65mph (which as only about 10mpg faster than the speed limit) and that when the bus went off the road. It’s possible that it dropped 50-80 feet off a cliff. Police are impounding the vehicle to investigate the possible causes of the crash. All remaining Josh Turner shows in September have been rescheduled for a later date.
