Blake Shelton And Miranda Lambert Didn’t Stand For Each Other’s CMA Performances
During last night’s (11/13) CMA Awards had a lot of amazing performances. One thing that some audience members focused on, beyond those performances was this: exes Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert apparently did not stand for each other’s performances while most of the audience did stand for each of them (and most of the other performances of the night).
Us Weekly is reporting that everyone stood up for Blake at the end of his performance except Miranda Lambert and her husband and the couple even left their seats during the commercial break.
Meanwhile, people said that during Lambert’s “It All Comes Out in the Wash” performance earlier in the night, Gwen Stefani and Blake “were nodding their heads.” But In Touch reported that “an onlooker” said “Blake and Gwen stayed seated for Miranda’s performance.”
Miranda recently said about her divorce from Shelton, “When everyone’s worried about your personal life, it makes you feel like, ‘Well, if you could just spend some of that time talking about my actual art, that would be great!’ But I guess I asked for it, getting into this business. I’m never gonna get used to the public eye in that way.”
