Russel Crowe won an award for actor in a mini series (the loudest voice) but he was unable to accept it because he was fighting the wildfires in Australia. He had Jennifer Aniston awkwardly read a statement on his behalf.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban pledged $500k to fight the Australian wildfires.t he donation will help the Rural Fire Service. As of right now 13-million acres have gone up in flames. An estimated half a billion wild animals have died in the fires, 1500 homes have burned to the ground and 24 people have died. Both Keith and Nicole are from there, and it seems as though their home is under threat, but hasn’t caught fire. Cross our fingers that it doesn’t.
Harvey Weinstein’s pre-trial motions begin today and the jury selection begins tomorrow for the sexual abuse cases that he’s facing. It’s been more than 2 years, but he will finally go on trial for the first of more than 80 sexual abuse allegations against him. The jury selection could take two weeks because it’s a high profile case and the court officials had to go through 2000 potential jurors. 500 responded but now they have to narrow down to 18, a dozen jurors and 6 alternates. He pleaded not guilty to the charges at his arraignment in August and he has repeatedly claimed that all of the acts that he’s charged with are consensual.

This farmer named Beth Bays from VA creates huge, larger than life pieces of art from HAY. In the past she’s made an elephant, the cast from wizard of OZ, and this year it’s a “statue” of Willie Nelson…made out of hay.
