We may not have New England in the Super Bowl this year, but we, as New Englanders, will be represented! Hyundai, and the the supah smaht ad agency they work with, have put together a commercial to air during the big game, with a stah studded line-up of celebs from Mass! The actors, who all grew up in the area take on one of the country’s most beloved (and cringy) accents… the Bawhston accent!

Geniuses!

The commercial was filmed in the South End and begins with Sudbury’s supah hunk, Captain America himself, Chris Evans! Also featured is everybody’s favorite paper salesman, The Office‘s Jim Halpert, aka John Krasinski (from Newton). But wait, there’s more! There’s Lexington’s Rachel Dratch, a Saturday Night Live cast member from 1999-2006. Needless to say, hilarity ensues.

Catch the ad in the first quarter of Super Bowl LIV. Kickoff is at 6:30 from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and is broadcast on Fox, that’s Boston 25 locally.

No need to wait, the full commercial has been released!

Smaht Pahk | 2020 Hyundai Sonata | Hyundai

It's not a ghost car, it's just wicked smart. Sorry, we meant smaht. Watch this year's big game commercial and see how Chris Evans, John Krasinski, Rachel Dratch, and David "Big Papi" Ortiz react to one of the Sonata's newest and smartest features: Remote Smart Parking Assist.
