1. CambridgeSide Hosts Soap Box Derby Winter Rallies
Head over to CambridgeSide this Saturday or Sunday for an action packed day of Soap Box racing. The Arlington/Cambridge Soap Box Derby Winter Rallies take place in the CambridgeSide parking garage and brings together races and their families for a day of fun! Watching these races are FREE and open to the public.

2. Crafts & Drafts at Distraction Brewing Co.
Bring your little one and create a fun piece of art while you enjoy a tasty glass of Distraction this weekend at Distraction Brewing Co. Distraction Brewing Co. will provide the art supplies and instructions, along with juice boxes and snacks for the kids. Admission to this event is FREE.

3. Somerville Community Maple Syrup Boil Down
Join the Somerville Community Growing Center for a Maple Syrup Boil Down this weekend! They’ve tapped local sugar maple trees on the Tufts Campus and are collecting the sap with volunteers from the community. At the Boil Down you can experience the process of boiling sap into maple syrup. This event is FREE to all.

4. Surfrider Winter Beach Cleanup & Social
This weekend is the Winter Beach Cleanup & Social at Nahant Beach! Come help clean up the beach, talk about marine debris, and end the day with a social at Tides Restaurant and Pub! You can meet at the Ward Bathhouse, just look for the Surfrider flag! This event is FREE for all ages. Cleanup supplies, data collection materials and hot chocolate will be provided.

5. Free Studio Barre Class at University Station

6. Fenway Frolic Scavenger Hunt
Grab a whiskey and strap you boots on because Game On! Fenway is hosting their annual St. Paddy’s Day Scavenger Hunt that will have you running down Lansdowne Street. This scavenger hunt is FREE to play. The first 100 people will receive a T-shirt. There are raffles and prizes all day long.

7. 2020 Boston Massacre Reenactment
This year marks the 250th anniversary of the Boston Massacre. The Boston Massacre Reenactment will take place this Saturday March 7th. This action packed day is filled with a back to back schedule of the different events that took place during the Boston Massacre. This educational reenactment is FREE for all to watch!

8. MFA First Year Free Membership
The MFA wants to share it’s milestone of 150th anniversary year in a way that can include everyone. They are inviting visitors who haven’t been MFA members before to sign up for a first year membership completely FREE when they attend one of their 2020 Community Celebrations or MFA Late Nites.
