Florida Georgia Line Loved Recording New Music In The Bahamas
Earlier this year, Florida Georgia Line traveled to the Bahamas along with their families for ten days to record part of their next album. Tyler Hubbard said, “That’s something we’ve always wanted to do, is kinda do a destination recording session for a while.”
The idea of going somewhere new and getting out of their routine was very appealing to Hubbard and Brian Kelley, and Hubbard says, “We just thought ‘Let’s go somewhere special and do what we’ve always dreamed of doing,’ and It was a really cool experience. I think there was this new creativity, and this new excitement, and this new energy that that kind of brought. Just changing scenery and going somewhere warm and pretty.”
In between studio sessions, the guys got to enjoy the sunshine with their families, and the whole experience was such a positive one that it won’t be the last time FGL does a destination recording session.
Hubbard adds, “Just being able to have nothing else to do and be out of town except work on the album for 10 days, we got so much done and we were so efficient and had so much fun in the process.”
FGL just released their brand new song, “I Love My Country,” which is the first release from their next project. The guys will be giving us more details about that soon.
