Mindy Kaling To Co-Write ‘Legally Blonde 3,’ Reese Witherspoon To Return
Reese Witherspoon and Minday Kaling are coming together for Legally Blonde 3 and we couldn’t be more excited! Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor have signed on to write the upcoming film and Reese Witherspoon is all in an returning too!
Straight from Wikipedia, Legally Blonde is a 2001 film in which “Reese Witherspoon stars as Elle Woods, a sorority girl who attempts to win back her ex-boyfriend, played by Matthew Davis, by getting a Juris Doctor degree at Harvard Law School, and in the process, overcomes prejudice against blondes and triumphs as a successful lawyer through unflappable self-confidence and fashion/beauty knowhow.”
The sequel, Legally Blonde 2 came out in 2003 so it’s been 17 years since we last saw Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods. Reese Witherspoon responded to the news on Instagram saying “Great news alert!!
