Fox & The Knife: A South Boston enoteca inspired by Moderna, Italy
Aperitivo, a word meaning a gathering place were a people can come together and celebrate good life, good drinks, and good food… and that is how Fox & The Knife was born.
Located in South Boston, Fox & The Knife is the first sole restaurant for James Beard winner and Top Chef alumni Chef Karen Akunowicz.
Inspired by a year long stint of living in Moderna, Italy, Chef Karen was taken with the regional cuisine ranging from Torino to Napoli, falling in love with the fresh ingredients and how food truly brought people together.
Fox & The Knife’s menu features modern takes on Italian classics in a cool and casual atmosphere, that also offers a variety of wines and craft cocktails.
Fox and The Knife is open Thursday through Sunday from 4:30pm until 11:00pm, as well as offering takeout and delivery options.
While walk in guests are welcome, reservations are always a good idea.
