Luke Bryan Finally Addresses His Dustin Lynch Stage “Introduction”
It’s never fun when you make the TikTok community angry, but Luke Bryan did just that after he awkwardly introduced Dustin Lynch on stage. Just before Dustin Lynch took the stage at Luke Bryan’s “Crash My Playa” in Mexico, Luke introduced him. Was is the alcohol talking or was Luke trying to be funny?
Luke asked the crowd to give a warm welcome to his friend. “No one has drank more liquor, no one has vomited more, no one has taken more drugs, no one has taken more IVs, no one has passed more STD tests than this next gentleman.” And then he introduced Dustin Lynch on stage.

The “Country Girl Shake it For Me” singer made sure to clarify that Dustin does have a clean bill of health, but that didn’t stop people from feeling like Luke crossed the line. Here are some of those comments:
“It was definitely uncalled for & undeserving! Especially when Dustin has given his all for Luke. Rather it be the opening act on a tour with Luke.” – Country Music Fan
“Dustin Lynch is awesome. I met him like 12 years ago at a bar and he’s super nice!” -Amanda Hartnett.
“…Drunk or not have more respect when introducing someone. So uncalled for…” -Kathy Williams.
“Everybody needs to be posting about this!! Very uncalled for!”
Representatives for both Luke Bryan and Dustin Lynch did not respond when Page Six asked for a comment.
**************UPDATE**************
On January 26th, days after the introduction took place, Luke Bryan addressed it on his Instagram story (which has now been deleted). He said, “Dustin Lynch is one of my dearest friends on the planet…No one respects him more than I do and that night at Crash My Playa … my introduction of him was complete sarcasm. Those words that I used were so absurd, I figured everybody would take it as sarcasm.”
The American Idol judge went on to say, ““I spoke to Dustin. I love him. He and I are all good. And I apologize to anybody that doesn’t understand my humor and sarcasm.”
