Deviled Eggs Worth Traveling For In the South Shore of Massachusetts
If you clicked this link you, like my family, have a deep appreciation for a food many restaurants have turned their noses up at for years: the simple-yet-complicated-to-master deviled egg. I have noticed more restaurants welcoming them back – might we even call them “trendy” again soon? – including one in the South Shore of Massachusetts which is worth a little car ride to taste for yourself.
4th & Cherry is located at 59 Washington St. in Weymouth and their appetizer “The Chicken Or the Egg?” is whimsical, fun, and very delicious. The deviled eggs are topped with crumbled bacon, pickled red onions, a sweet & spicy sauce, and a small piece of fried chicken – which is equal parts excessive and delightful. My family gobbled them up like a bunch of egg-craving-turkeys? Sorry, using the word “gobble” there left me little avenues to take.
We really enjoyed 4th & Cherry. Beyond the deviled eggs, we also really loved their chicken bites and just LOOK at their smash burger in the video below!:
