Catch Of The Week: John Jerome
Meet: John Jerome from Gloucester, MA
For John Jerome, singing and songwriting were the result of nature… and nurture. His dad played guitar, and music was always played in the home. John was actually given a guitar as a toddle, but really started playing at age 13, and started and writing songs not longer after. Whether it was the Beatles, or Willie, this musician absorbed it all.
Jerome’s passion for playing and pleasing is unmistakable. The joy and the pain are put on display when his words diffuse. Last year he released his debut album, John Jerome. It’s filled with images of his home, his loves, and his road. As a native from Gloucester, there’s no escaping the ocean and it’s metaphors. You’ll find the album on all music platforms, and you’ll find John…performing somewhere, likely near the beach.
