Country Music Hall Of Famer Glen Campbell Getting Museum
The late Country Music Hall Of Famer Glen Campbell is getting a museum in his honor in downtown Nashville.
The Glen Campbell Museum and Rhinestone Stage, a live music venue will sit at the corner of Broadway and 2nd Avenue and will open in early 2020.
According to The Tennessean, The venue will feature interactive displays showcasing different stages of Campbell’s career. He was a studio musician in The Wrecking Crew; the singer of many hit records including “Rhinestone Cowboy” and “Southern Nights”; and a television and film actor, including the star/host of popular music and comedy variety show “The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour.”
Campbell died in 2017 at the age of 81 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Glen’s Instagram account stays very active as this morning they posted, “It’s been 2 years since we lost the Rhinestone Cowboy, and his legacy continues to grow as younger generations worldwide discover the great music of Glen Campbell.
