Rascal Flatts Announce Dates For ‘Farewell Tour’
Rascal Flatts announced their final tour dates on CBS This Morning today (1/7). The Rascal Flatts Farewell: Life Is A Highway Tour marks the band’s 20th anniversary and is set to kick off in June in Indianapolis.
Gary LeVox said, “When we started out 20 years ago, we could not imagine all of the people, places, and gifts we would encounter. The greatest feeling ever is being told that our music has been the soundtrack to their lives. … That’s why we create music and the reason we can’t wait to celebrate this incredible 20-year journey all year, with our fans who we love dearly.”
Jay DeMarcus adds that this is it for the trio touring, “We’re saying goodbye, yeah.” Joe Don Rooney says, “It’s our way of saying thank you.”
LeVox admits, It’s tough to outdo the tour year after year and it’s gonna be nice to take 12 months to celebrate with the people… we have four generations of people that come to our shows.”
Tickets for the farewell tour will be available first as part of the Live Nation Country Megaticket. More information will become available at rascalflatts.com in the coming weeks.
