New Emails Emerge In Lori Loughlin Scandal
Lori Loughlin and her husband’s defense in the college admissions scandal just got a bit of a boost thanks to some newly released emails between the famous couple and a rep for USC. The documents contain emails that appear to be somewhat solicitous in nature saying this…. “Please let me know If I can be at all helpful in setting up a 1:1 opportunity for her, customized tour of campus for the family, and/or classroom visit? I’d also be happy to flag her application.”The dad responded by saying they were squared away. The couple is among more than a dozen parents who are still fighting the charges against them. As the trial gets closer, they are making the case that they had reason to believe the money they’re accused of paying as bribes was actually legitimate donations to USC, And these new emails help make the case that the university has a culture of mixing admissions conversations with fundraising conversations.

Kelsea Ballerini started something super important yesterday on social media, and many female country artists followed. Chris William who tweeted sarcastically, “I turned on the 105.1 country station in LA just now, and they were were playing the new Gabby Barrett, and then, without any pause or interruption at all, they went into a Kelsea Ballerini song. Can’t they get fined for that?”
That’s when a country radio station in Michigan saw the tweet and replied to Chris saying “We cannot play two females back to back. Not even the mixed gender groups Lady Antebellum or LBT against another female.” I applaud their courage. Let’s just say that lit a fire under almost every female I know in the industry.
Kacey Musgraves said “Smells like white male Bull and why long ago I decided they cannot stop me. And yes they can play 18 dudes who sound exactly the same back to back. Makes total sense.”
Kelsea says “There is still inequality in airplay for women. And tweets like this prove it. It’s my job to say it out loud and post about it, because of the girls moving to Nashville or wherever, that are ready to outrun and outwork and outplay everyone. Country music we have to fix this. For us and for them. How do we do it? Let’s talk.”
