Maddie And Tae: Only One Of Them Has Watched ‘Tiger King’
Maddie & Tae released their sophomore full album The Way It Feels on Friday (4/10) and the duo have been doing interviews via phone and video to promote the new project, but from their separate homes.
The girls who are usually inseparable, have been quarantined apart from each other. While Tae has been watching Tiger King on Netflix, Maddie hasn’t.
Maddie Marlow told us, “Tae started a petition because I have not watched it since I watched the first episode and I got so creeped out, like literally Joe Exotic gives me the heebie-jeebies and I just I can’t do it. So I think honestly, with how many people are talking about it, I may cave and actually watch it.”
She adds why she can’t really watch it, saying, “Tae loves scary and creepy, but not me. A lot of that stuff stays in my brain and I’ll have nightmares. And then my husband gets mad. I wake him up in the middle and so I’m doing us all a favor.”
Maddie says she does other not so frightening things to pass the time while staying at home, “Me, I’m more of a book person, so I’ve been reading a lot of books.”
The duo will be talking about their new album live on Instagram tomorrow (4/14).
