Kane Brown Makes History On BET Awards
Kane Brown made a historic performance Sunday evening (6/28) on the 2020 BET Awards.
Filmed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, Brown made the national television debut of his co-penned single, “Worldwide Beautiful,” alongside Grammy-nominated gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds, who sang his hit song “People.”
With the never-before-featured collaboration, Kane becomes the first country artist to debut a song on the BET Awards.
Set up as a musical dialogue with McReynolds and Brown in the “Mother church” of Country music, the collaboration also marks the first time in BET Awards history that a performance has been done from Nashville.
