Dolly Parton Says Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Voice ‘Will Echo Forever’
Dolly Parton was one of the first to post her thoughts after the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at age 87 on Friday (9/18) afternoon.
Dolly posted to her Instagram, “She was small in stature but even the tallest looked up to her. Her voice was soft but her message rang loud and clear and will echo forever. Thank you, RBG. Rest In Peace. Respectfully, Dolly Parton.”
Grammy winner Brandi Carlile was the first to respond to Parton’s post, writing, “Dolly you are a global treasure and a light in the darkness for everyone words from you always make me feel better.”
Maren Morris also responded to Dolly’s post writing simply, “Thank you, Dolly.”
