Luke Combs: ‘I Constantly Think About How Lucky I Am’
Luke Combs knows he’s a lucky man, both with major success he’s had in the past few years, and also more recently with his marriage to his wife Nicole.
Backstage at the ACM’s Zoom press conference last week Luke said of his new life as a married man, “It was really wild getting married this year, come hell or high water. We made the best of it. The time at home has been something that I’m not accustomed to, but something that I’m very grateful for to be able to spend time with my wife and us to enjoy each other’s company.”
As for his two ACM wins for Album of the Year (What You See Is What You Get) and Male Artist of the Year, Combs said, “I constantly think about how lucky I am and how grateful I am to be in the situation I am. To get married this year was an amazing bright spot in my life, and to have tonight on top of it and have a really small group of people I love has just been amazing. I’m just grateful to be the guy standing here talking to you all.”
He posted to his Instagram stories last night (9/20), “I’m just as excited for new music to be are, so I was thinking about sharing an acoustic video of me singing each of the 5 new songs every Monday for the next 5 weeks. If you’re all down I’ll post the first one tomorrow at 7 pm ET.”
