Miranda Lambert Wins Album Grammy, Says: ‘I’m Holding this For All of Us Girls’
Miranda Lambert won the Grammy for Best Country Album for her WildCard album. The nominees were mostly women, including Brandy Clark and Ingrid Andress.
In true Miranda style, she took a moment to thank the other artists that were in the category saying, “Brandy and Ingrid, Little Big Town and Ashley back in Nash (Nashville) we are such a family in country music so I feel like holding this right now, I’m holding it for all of us, especially us girls.”
She added, “Thanks to the Grammys for letting us just kind of be together and say hi.” as well as, “To my band and crew, I miss the hell out of ya’ll and I can’t wait to get back out.”

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s.
Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
