Luke Bryan: ‘Amazingly Surprised’ To Be ACM’s Entertainer of The Year
The ACM’s coveted 2021 Entertainer of the Year award went to Luke Bryan, who is recovering from COVID and was not at the show.
He did however accept the award on Zoom from Los Angeles where he is working to get better and get back on American Idol.
Luke said, “Oh my God, ya’ll got me I’m amazingly surprised.” He then listed all who he was thankful for including Keith Urban and Mickey Guyton who hosted the ACM Awards together. Bryan said, “Mickey and Keith, what a great night you guys have done and to all my fans out there, thank you.”
He continued, “We’ve missed touring, we’ve missed being on the road with everybody that makes me an entertainer, my bus drivers, my band and my crew what a challenging year. But what an amazing honor.”
