Luke Bryan Calls Battle With Covid ‘Quite Challenging’
Luke Bryan says that while his case of COVID-19 wasn’t the worst in the world, he did struggle with the virus for a couple of “challenging days.”
Luke told the ACM virtual press room via Zoom on Sunday (4/18), “I was very fortunate to not have a long set of symptoms and stuff. It was still quite challenging for a couple of days, but… thank God for health.”
Bryan added that his wife Caroline helped him to get through it. “There were times when Caroline was nursing me back to health. I am really blessed to be on the other side of a COVID-19 diagnosis.”
He added, “You learn that at your core — I mean, being out on stage in front of [my] fans, it’s a big part of my happiness as a human being, too. I’m not gonna sit here and say I haven’t had ups and downs, bouts of depression, as so many people out there [have.]”
