Massachusetts Ranked as One of the Best Pizza States in the US
It’s true… Massachusetts is one of the best pizza states in America, according to Food and Wine!
On Thursday, Food & Wine named the top 10 pizza states in the country… and guess what? Massachusetts made the list coming in at number eight! Number one on the list was given to New Jersey, followed by Connecticut at number two, and New York at number three.
The article gives a shoutout to Galleria Umberto, a pizza spot in the North End that is always packed. And of course, it makes sure to mention Regina Pizzeria, stating that the original store on Thacher Street in the North End is better than all the rest. However, who do they think makes the best pizza in Boston? Santarpio’s Pizza in East Boston wins… and we think many people will agree with that one!
