Fenway Park Confirms Summer 2021 Concert Lineup
Fenway Park has confirmed that with Massachusetts COVID-19 restrictions lifting this summer, concerts will return to Lansdowne Street beginning July 16th.
Many of the artists who originally had plans to perform in 2020 are slated to return this summer. The only shows that have been canceled instead of rescheduled include Dead & Company (originally on Aug. 7-8, 2020) and James Taylor/Brandi Carlile/Shawn Colvin (originally on June 21, 2020).
Gov. Charlie Baker announced in April that all businesses can reopen at 100 percent capacity by August 1st. This means that three scheduled shows for July could be subject to capacity limits: New Kids on the Block on July 16th, and Def Leppard/Motley Crüe on July 17th and 18th. A Red Sox spokesperson stated that all scheduled concerts from August onward are expected to be at 100 percent capacity.
In addition to the July shows listed above, the current August schedule is as follows: Guns N’ Roses on August 3rd, Billy Joel on August 4th, Green Day on August 5th, Lady Gaga on August 7th, Zac Brown Band on August 8th, Maroon 5 on September 12th, and Aerosmith on September 14th.
