Oh The Horror! Candy Corn Factory Was Hacked, Slowing Production
I can handle the auto chip shortage, the toilet paper debacle…but this? It’s almost Halloween! This is scary. (For candy corn lovers like me)
The makers of the OG of candy corn, Brach’s is the latest victim of a ransomware attack. Ferrara Candy, out of Chicago, owns Brach’s- which has an 85% share of the market of the popular orange, yellow and white Halloween treats.
Systems were compromised, but the company is slowly restoring everything. In the meantime the great love/hate candy corn debate continues. If you aren’t a fan, I’ll take yours. Thank you.
