Miranda Lambert Was Inducted Into The Cowgirl Hall of Fame
Miranda Lambert’s new song is called “If I Was A Cowboy,” and it’s quite fitting because Miranda was inducted into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame on Tuesday (10/26) in Fort Worth, Texas.
Established in 1975, the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame honors and celebrates women, past and present, whose lives exemplify the courage, resilience, and independence that helped shape the West and fosters an appreciation of the ideals and spirit of self-reliance they inspire.
Lambert posted to Twitter when her new “If I Was A Cowboy” single was released a few weeks back.

Nominated for Entertainer, Female Vocalist, and Musical Event of the Year (“Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Elle King) at the 55th Annual CMA Awards, it was announced today (10/26) that Miranda will also take the stage to perform during the ceremony. She is the most nominated female artist in CMA history and the third most-nominated artist overall.
The CMA Awards will be held on November 10, which happens to also be Miranda’s birthday.
