Dolly Parton Loves Chapel Hart’s ‘Fun Spin’ On ‘Jolene’
There is a new country music trio of two sisters and a first cousin named Chapel Hart, and because of Dolly Parton and their spin on her iconic “Jolene,” they are about to set country music on fire.
The new trio performed their song, “You Can Have Him, Jolene,” on America’s Got Talent this week, prompting a gold button push by all the judges and a social media post from Dolly herself.
Parton posted to Twitter after seeing the performance, “What a fun new take on my song, @ChapelHartBand! Carl’s birthday is today, so I think I’ll hang on to him, and I’m not notifying Jolene that today is his birthday #AGT.”
