Reba Goes On ‘Vocal Rest,’ Postpones Shows
Reba McEntire has some vocal problems and has had to postpone some of her weekend shows on her “Reba: Live In Concert Tour.”
Reba posted the news to Instagram last night (11/2), saying, “An update about this weekend’s shows… My doctor has advised me to go on vocal rest, so I have made the difficult decision to reschedule this weekend’s shows.”
She added, “All tickets will be honored for the new dates:
December 2 • Columbus, OH
December 3 • Raleigh, NC
December 16 • Indianapolis, IN
Thank you for understanding! Love, Reba.”
Fans were encouraging in their response. One wrote, “Feel better soon! My husband would probably like me to go on vocal rest for a while.” Another fan commented, “As a huge fan of both you and Julie Andrews, don’t let what happened to her happen to you. Take ALL the rest you need!!” One more fan said, “Please rest and take care of yourself!! We love you and want you healthy!!!”
Reba announced her 17-city Fall tour back in July. She said at the time, “I can’t wait to see everyone out on the road again this fall. We had so much fun in the spring, and I’m ready to get back out there with my buddy Terri Clark!”

Earlier this month (10/21), when Reba played a sold out show in Nashville, she sang for an hour and a half, singing 30 songs, many of which were her big hits, including her first chart-topper, “I Can’t Even Get The Blues.” She paid tribute to her songs that make you blue in her catalog, wearing a blue dress. She also sang a couple of songs from her gospel album and kept the four generations of fans on their feet.
