Jason Aldean Starts Work On 11th Studio Album
Jason Aldean has been moving to a new home with his wife and kids, and also this week, he went back to the recording studio to begin work on his 11th studio album. Jason posted a series of photos on Instagram.
In the first post, he shared, along with photos in the studio, “Today was the first day of recording the new album. Always a blast when we start making new music together. Love all these guys who have played on pretty much everything with me since the beginning. Album #11.”
Fans reacted to the post and photos, including one who commented, “Great pictures! Love behind the scenes how music begins! Can’t wait!” Another fan said, “I love it. I love all of it. But I NEED to ‘live’ with an album to truly love it. I’m still back on 9. You’re killing me!”

In a second post to Instagram, Aldean captioned another studio photo dump, “Day 2 in the studio! We cut 9 songs in 2 days, and we recorded some (fire emoji) Today. Can’t wait for u guys to hear what we’ve been working on.”
Many fans reacted to the post, including one who wrote, “Can’t wait to hear em, cuzzie bro!. Okay, time for my regular random nerd questions. What mic is that, and is these final cuts or roughs? Bonus points if you know what mic-pre and real-time compressor going in.” Another fan responded, “I cannot wait for this.” One more fan said, “Can’t wait!! I hope there’s another duet on this album!”

Jason Aldean recently announced his upcoming “Highway Desperado Tour.” The 41-city headlining tour kicks off on July 14 at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York, making stops across the U.S. in Atlanta, Charlotte, Phoenix, and more before wrapping up in Tampa at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on October 28. Mitchell Tenpenny serves as direct support for Aldean alongside openers Corey Kent and Dee Jay Silver.
