Garth Brooks Has New Music and A New Place To Play It
November is shaping up to be a very busy month for Garth Brooks, who announced a few things on Studio G last night (10/16).
Garth said of his third and final Limited Box Set, “Got new music coming out! So excited. This comes out – supposedly – Black Friday. But the truth is… it’s Bass Pro and Cabela’s, right? These guys are just hard-working people. They told us, ‘As soon as you ship it, we’ll put it on the shelves!’ It could be as early as mid-November! They cannot wait.”
He added, “It’s got the whole new album in it!”
Also, next month, Garth will play a live Dive Bar show at the opening of his “Friends In Low Places Bar and Honky-Tonk” in downtown Nashville. His show there will be the day after Thanksgiving. He said of the new bar, “It’s just a classic, good ol’ Oklahoma honky-tonk for me playing country music,”
He continued, “There’s themes everywhere in there. The bathroom in Friends In Low Places isn’t just a bathroom. You’ll see. Man, it’s cool!”
Brooks concluded, “We are in the entertainment business, and our job is to make sure that you feel the time and money that you spent to get there – hopefully, you would do it again if you were offered the same chance.”

Garth said last week (10/10) on Studio G, “I gotta tell you – when people go, ‘What’s your favorite thing – stadiums, arenas, whatever?’ Dive Bars. Dive bars are stupid fun. And this one is going to be nuts!”
He added, “How do you open a Friends in Low Places bar? With a Garth concert! This is going to be off the chain: Black Friday, a brand new bar in the home of country music. Hollywood couldn’t write a better script. I can NOT wait!”
When he announced plans for a bar in downtown Nashville in April, he said, “We feel very lucky to have the chance to be part of Lower Broadway, which is arguably THE hottest spot in the country. The goal is a classic honky-tonk that welcomes all and encourages love and kindness while playing the greatest music in the world in the home of Country Music!”
