Blake Shelton Announces New ‘Anthem For Hardworking People’

Blake Shelton announced a new single today (9/29), it’s called “Come Back As A Country Boy.” The new song will be out on Friday (10/1). 

Blake said through a press release, “I think this song is an anthem for everyday hardworking country people out there. We have so much pride in who we are and what we do that, if we ever died and got the chance to live life over again, we probably wouldn’t do it if we couldn’t be country.”

 “Come Back As A Country Boy” is the first new track from the deluxe edition of Body Language, which has already yielded the No. 1 song “Happy Anywhere” with Gwen Stefani. 

Body Language Deluxe is set for release on December 3. 

Shelton’s team posted to Instagram, “NEW MUSIC 🚨 #BodyLanguage (Deluxe) will be available December 3rd and features four new tracks, including #ComeBackAsACountryBoy – out this Friday! Link in bio to pre-save. -Team BS.”

They listened to Hank, or these days you'll hear Jason Aldean blaring out of somebody's car coming from a mile away. It's just how they are, and that song is just written exactly how I live."
