Lainey Wilson’s Friends Tease Her During Photo Shoot
Lainey Wilson posted some fun things she has been up to lately on her Instagram over the weekend. In one video clip, she is posing for photos in a photo shoot, and a couple of her girlfriends poke fun at their famous friend.
The video clip was posted along with a photo of her pointing to the Nashville snow, some pictures of her friends gathering at her house with a Christmas tree in the background, and some photos of her and her dog.
In the clip, Lainey is posing for photos in jeans, a cowboy shirt, and a hat when one of her friends starts to tease her, saying, “Little smiley, flirting with the camera; ohh, ohh, do you want a kiss me?” At that point, Wilson stands up, adjusts her outfit, and laughs a bit.
She captioned the fun post, “I’d say 2024 is off to a pretty good start.”
Many of her die-hard fans reacted to the post, including one who said, “I kinda like country a little bit more now that I know u sing it.” Another fan commented, “Happy New Year, Lainey!” One more fan wrote, “Love those cat statues.”

Wilson did a new interview this week with Glamour magazine. In the new article, she said she is ready to work with Miley Cyrus. In her teens, Lainey worked as a Hannah Montana impersonator. She told the publication, “At some point in time, me and Miley Cyrus have to work together.”
Wilson added of her Hannah Montana impersonating days, “I would do four or five birthday parties a weekend. Sometimes, I would open up as Lainey Wilson, and then I’d run backstage and change into my Hannah Montana wig and do my 15-song karaoke show.”
Lainey also revealed what her favorite country song of all time is, noting that she thinks Keith Whitley’s “When You Say Nothing at All” by Keith Whitley is “timeless” and could be a hit today.
