Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski are speechless in new Instagram victory video
Tom Brady and the New England are still here, and their way to the Super Bowl for the third straight year.
And if there are words to properly describe that feeling, Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski didn’t have ’em, as Brady’s postgame victory Instagram confirmed.
Set to the tune of “Bad Boy For Life” by Diddy, Brady let the world know that the Patriots aren’t going away, ending the video with a fitting “Still Here” following Sunday’s 37-31 overtime final over the No. 1 seed Kansas City Chiefs.
The 41-year-old Brady completed 30 of his 46 throws for a total of 348 yards and a touchdown. Gronkowski, meanwhile, turned in a vintage performance that included receptions on six of his 11 targets for a total of 79 yards, and with countless ‘clutch’ grabs that kept the Patriots’ season alive and on its way to Atlanta for a meeting with the Los Angeles Rams.
After the game, Brady praised Gronkowski’s performance.
“He was playing his butt off,” Brady said after the team’s third straight AFC title. “He has done that all year. He is out there, and whatever we ask him to do, he does with an enthusiasm about him. He is an incredible teammate and person. I know everyone doesn’t know him personally – but he is just a great man.
“Just so happy to have been able to play with him for as long as we have.”
(And to silence the critics with some Diddy when necessary.)
