Is Brett Eldredge Going To Be The Next Bachelor?
Brett Eldredge’s new album Sunday Drive is out today, so he called into Jonathan Wier & Ayla Brown to chat about his new music and if he’d ever appear on The Bachelor.
Jonathan loved Brett’s first single Gabrielle because the piano is at the forefront and it reminded him of a Michael McDonald song. Brett wrote the song from a real experience and it was the first song they recorded for the album. They had found an old piano in Chicago and it became a big sound for the album. “It’s a story about a long lost love that never worked out, but you always wonder you know what they’re doing, where they are, and you wish them well no matter what.”
Ayla brings up Brett’s love life and wonders if he would ever appear on The Bachelor. He says that he likes to keep that part of his life private, so he couldn’t imagine having cameras follow him around on a date. “I don’t think I could do that. I think I’ll stick to singing and just keeping it quiet, I guess.”
You can’t talk to Brett without bringing up his album Glow and Christmas shows. Jonathan asks what his plan is for this year with the pandemic. “I know I’m going to figure out something, I don’t know what it’ll be, but I’ll figure out a way to get that holly-jolly joy out there.”
