Toy Story Comes To Life In NH!
We all know reality makes for great stories. But, sometimes, stories become reality and it’s just magical.
This is the tale of Sheriff Woody from Toy Story and his real life owner, toddler Desmond. According to Boston.com, Plaistow, NH Home Depot employees found a Woody doll last week in the parking lot. The workers decided to help find the owner through social media. They staged funny photos of the Pixar star around the store, then posted them on various social networks. Their hope was to eventually get the attention of Woody’s rightful parents.
The campaign worked! Eventually the mother of Sheriff Woody’s owner saw the posts on Facebook. Mission accomplished… Desmond was thrilled. Of course once he got Woody back, he had to reunite him with his long time pal (former arch nemesis), Buzz Lightyear.
Some may say, there’s no place like home…depot. And while I’m sure Woody enjoyed his new gig at the home improvement giant, he’s where he’s supposed to be now, back with his family and friends and there truly is no place like home.
