United Airlines’ Vaccinated Customers Could Win Free Flights for a Year
It’s true… if you’re vaccinated, you might be able to win free flights for a whole year with United Airlines’ newest sweepstakes!
United Airlines announced on Monday a new sweepstakes called “Your Shot to Fly,” which gives travelers who are fully vaccinated a chance to win a year of free flights to anywhere in the world it flies to. Frequent fliers in the airline’s loyalty program, MileagePlus, are encouraged to upload their vaccination card through their mobile app or website. The sweepstakes is open until June 22nd.
The airline will announce the five winners on July 1st, who will all receive a year of travel for themselves and a companion, in any class of service, to anywhere United flies to. In addition, they will also give away 30 pairs of tickets to participants for a roundtrip flight for two, in any class of service, to anywhere the airline flies.
“We’re proud to do our part to incentivize people to get their shot,” said United CEO Scott Kirby in an official press release. “Thanks to the vaccine, more and more destinations are opening up for travel – and we know our customers are eager to fly. We’re excited to give people one more reason to get vaccinated so they can reunite with friends and family or take that long-awaited vacation which all could be just one shot away.”
The airline is launching brand-new routes to Croatia, Greece, and Iceland, as well as resuming flights to Italy, Portugal, Spain, and France this summer. It’s also adding new nonstop flights from New York/Newark to Johannesburg, South Africa beginning June 3rd.
The sweepstakes is open to any resident of the United States who is at least 18 years old and a MileagePlus member. To enter, click here! Click here for more information from the official United site.
