Catch Of The Week: Timmy Brown!
Meet: Timmy Brown, a singer/songwriter and Nashville recording artist from Norton, MA
He’s been here before, and will be here again. Timmy Brown’s passion and energy has earned him a large, loyal following in New England and beyond. And has earned him the Local Catch spotlight again! Now, you can catch Timmy Brown at our sold-out Country 102.5 Street Party on Landsdowne Street. Timmy heads into the opening slot on Sunday with some new accolades: He was recently named, for the 2nd consecutive year, The New England Country Music Male Artist Of The Year. And he just finished up a run as a contestant on American Idol, for the 2nd time. Brown was selected for Season 14 of the original Idol in 2014, and most recently on the re-boot for ABC, where he finished in the top 60! You may have seen him at Gillette Stadium, singing the National Anthem for Patriots games. Piano at age, followed by chorus in high school, and karaoke weekends weren’t enough for Timmy. So, he taught himself guitar and made a full time commitment to music, fronting the band, Black Diamond. There’s been no stopping him since. He has become one of the area’s most sought-after talents for clubs, festivals, events and parties. Catch him this summer performing at the Xfinity Center Side Stage before all country shows! For those coming to our sold-out Country 102.5 Street Party this Sunday (starring Kane Brown), catch Timmy on stage around 1:30!
