Catch Of The Week: Britt Hill
Meet: Britt Hill from Milford, MA
Britt was never one to be a quiet. Even as a young child, there was no stopping her from being the constant performer. Her passion for singing was evident early and often, and highly encouraged by her parents. Around the age of 7 or 8 Hill was enrolled in voice lessons. From there on in, there was no turning back, and it was on to choir and theater in high school. Britt describes her sound as pop country meets old country vocals. There is an aching in her voice reminiscent of Trisha Yearwood, with an ease of Maren Morris. This Berklee College of Music grad clearly enjoys what she does, and is now passing along her love and knowledge to students in Massachusetts as a vocal teacher. Teaching is Britt’s day job, but at night you can see her performing all over New England acoustically and with the popular local favorite band, Digger Dawg. Beautifully controlled vocals that soar, delivered with conviction and understanding… that’s how I would describe this talented artist.
