Matt Stell Has The Midas Touch!
A huge congratulations to Country 1025 Street Party star, Matt Stell, who’s debut single has been certified gold! A Gold record is a single or album that sells 500,000 units. So, yeah. It’s a pretty big deal!
.Nationally, the song, “Prayed for You,” has gone top 10, but here in Boston, on the Country 1025 Top 25 Countdown, it was a 2 week #1 hit!
After official honors were awarded, Matt said, “Man, I have to have one of the most memorable gold record presentations ever. My whole label and management company and whole team decided to surprise me on stage at a show in Nashville. I had no idea what was going on, as a matter of fact I almost played the wrong song. My band was in on the presentation and luckily steered me back on track, cause I almost played the wrong song. I got to take a picture with a bunch of fans behind me with a bunch of people that I really care about that believed in me, so sharing that gold record with everybody was really, really something special.”
